6 Foot Flag Pole

One of the most crucial stages is taking the 6-foot flag pole from laying on the ground to up-right in the air.

The first step is to level and set the flagpole.

Use very fine sand so that the flagpole can move & center the flagpole to the hole. Cut the top & use hardwood wedges to keep the flagpole in place.

The next step is to add the snap hooks and covers wherein the snap will go above the knot, and another one will go below.

The best is to loop snap hooks onto the rope rather than tie them. Post this attach snap hooks and covers. Lift the rope with a snap-hook cover and pull the loop through its cover too. At the same time, do the same for the halyard through the snap hook’s eyelet. It would help if you tightened & compressed the loop and cover-up over the snap.

Do not let the flag touch the ground; raise firmly & make sure the top snap hook is not jammed into the truck’s pulley. Get the essentials from Ameritex Flags easily from the website.
